Airmen assigned to the 18th Civil Engineer Squadron and U.S. Marines hike down to the beach at Iwo Jima, Japan, March 23, 2022. A huge carrier force of Marines landed on this beach on the southeastern front of the island during the Battle of Iwo Jima.
