A U.S. Air Force CV-22B Osprey assigned to the 352d Special Operations Wing flies around the mountains of northern Norway while being escorted by a UH-1Y Venom and an AH-1W Super Cobra assigned to 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing, during a simulated hostile combat landing zone, March 12, 2022, during Exercise Cold Response ‘22. This training was conducted to better familiarize each unit with each other's tactics and protocols. Exercise Cold Response '22 is an annual Norwegian national readiness and defense exercise that takes place across Norway, with participation from each of its military services, as well as from 26 additional North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) allied nations and regional partners.
