U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Keith Gottlob, 120th Maintenance Squadron, removes screws from a lightning control unit in St. Paul, Minn., April 7, 2022. Gottlob is part of a team of maintainers from five different maintenance squadrons who came together to repair aging lighting control units for their C-130 H3 Hercules fleets. This ingenuity restored the operational status of 11 of 16 lighting control units and saved the U.S. Air Force approximately 1.6 million dollars.
