A U.S. Army UH-60 Blackhawk medical evacuation helicopter from the 1-214th General Support Aviation Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade transports personnel to a nearby location for simulated treatment during a joint exercise led by the Polish Armed Forces near the G2A Arena, Poland, April 8, 2022. This exercise and others like it enhances our interoperability with our NATO allies and partners and strengthens the regional relationships that we have developed. 12 CAB is the only enduring aviation brigade present throughout Europe that enables us to deter and defend against threats from any direction. 12 CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retains command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
