12 CAB brings muscle to joint air assault training

A U.S. Army CH-47 Chinook helicopter from the 1-214th General Support Aviation Battalion, 12th Combat Aviation Brigade transports U.S. Army paratroopers at Trzcianiec, Poland, conducting joint air assault training with Polish Armed Forces paratroopers at a nearby location, April 6, 2022. Approximately 156 U.S. Army and Polish Armed Forces paratroopers conducted joint air assault training to enhance interoperability with our NATO allies and partners and strengthen the regional relationships that we have developed. 12 CAB is among other units assigned to V Corps, America's Forward Deployed Corps in Europe that works alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retains command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
