U.S. Air Force Pilots assigned to the 32nd Air Refueling Squadron celebrate the return of the last KC-10 Extender from Central Command at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, New Jersey, Apr. 19, 2022. The return marks an end to over thirty years of air refueling support provided to the U.S. and coalition partners through both peace and war, beginning with Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm in 1990-91, through the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan, and punctuated by Operation Allies Refuge in 2021.
