U.S. Army Maj. Michael McLean, Executive Officer, 369th Sustainment Brigade, New York National Guard with Vice Admiral A. Kubu, Chief Human Resources and other distinguished visitors from the South African National Defence Force and Stellenbosch University at the historic 369th Regiment Armory on Fifth Avenue in Harlem, New York City on April 21, 2022 as part of the State Partnership Program (SPP).
The South African delegation learned about the structure and capabilities of the New York National Guard and the 369th’s proud history and heritage to include the famous Harlem Hellfighters. The New York Army National Guard and South Africa have particapted together in the State Partnership Program since 2003 and was the first partnership in Africa.
