The 104th Maintenance Operations Flight spent the afternoon on April 8, 2022 volunteering at the Friends of the Homeless shelter in Springfield, Massachusetts. The 104MOF helped the staff and clients weed garden beds, build trellises, and plant the spring gardens. The 104MOF regularly volunteers in our community at various organizations. The Friends of the Homeless shelter, run by Clinical and Support Options, provides a warm bed and hot shower to over 1,000 people each year, as well as assign them a caseworker for behavioral and mental health needs.
