U.S. Marine Corps CH-53's from Marine Heavy Helicopter Squadrons 462 and 465, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing, rest on the flight line on Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, San Diego, California, April 20, 2022. The Air Force Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps cadets were able to stand on the catwalk of the Air Traffic Control tower to see the flight line. The cadets also received an obstacle course and Marine Corps Martial Art Program demonstration, visited the air traffic control tower, and saw a static display on the flight line as part of a visit to the base to familiarize them with air-station operations and everyday life in the military.
