U.S. service members of Vietnamese descent, including four flag and general
officers, pay tribute to veterans of the Vietnam War at the Vietnam War
Memorial in Washington, D.C., April 30, 2022. The wreath laying ceremony
falls on the anniversary of Operation Frequent Wind, which evacuated South
Vietnamese civilians during the fall of Saigon at the conclusion of the
Vietnam War in 1975.
