SAN DIEGO (May 3, 2022) – Secretary of the Navy Carlos Del Toro departs amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), May 3, 2022. Secretary Del Toro is visiting San Diego to meet with Sailors and Marines aboard Makin Island, to include Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 3, Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 41 and Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron (VRM) 50.
