Soldiers with 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, stand in formation for a redeployment ceremony at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, May 10, 2022. The 3rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command was deployed to the U.S. Central Command Area of Responsibility where they performed theater sustainment support in close coordination with joint logistics enterprise partners such as the Defense Logistics Agency, the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command, the CENTCOM Deployment Distribution Operations Center, the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Center-Southwest Asia and strategic partners such as Army Materiel Command, Transportation Command, Army Medical Logistics Command and U.S. Embassies in order to procure materiel and move it from around the world into and around theater by land, sea and air.
