Trojan Footprint 22 tests interoperability, increases allied partnership

U.S. combat controllers from the 321st Special Tactics Squadron (STS) and 22nd STS partner with a Lithuanian Joint Terminal Attack Controller to provide information to a 310th Special Operations Squadron (SOS) U-28A Draco aircraft as it lands in an austere airfield near Panevėžys, Lithuania during Exercise Trojan Footprint 22, May 6, 2022. Austere landings demonstrate the 310th SOS’ continued effort to refine its agile combat employment capabilities, which improve its Airmen’s ability to operate from austere locations with limited infrastructure and personnel. Trojan Footprint is the premier Special Operations Forces (SOF) exercise in Europe that focuses on improving the ability of SOF to counter myriad threats, increases integration with conventional forces and enhances interoperability with our NATO allies and European partners.
