A Pilot assigned to the 17th Special Operations Squadron looks for a simulated target from an AC-130J Ghostrider gunship during a training mission near Powidz, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poland, as part of Exercise Trojan Footprint, May 6th, 2022. The 17 SOS AC-130J conducted the mission alongside 7th Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment AH-64 Apache helicopters and 321st Special Tactics Squadron Operators. Trojan Footprint is the premier Special Operations Forces (SOF) exercise in Europe that focuses on improving the ability of SOF to counter myriad threats, increases integration with conventional forces and enhances interoperability with our NATO allies and European partners.
