U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Tyler Foutz, an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) technician with 1st EOD Company, 1st Marine Logistics Group, constructs various knots that can be utilized in EOD operations with the Timor-Leste National Police (PNTL) EOD team during the classroom portion of the Humanitarian Mine Action training program (HMA) in Dili, Timor-Leste, May 3, 2022. The rotation of the HMA program to Timor-Leste advances the U.S. and PNTL relationship, furthering opportunities for cultural exchange, and enhancing our mutual skills in support of humanitarian assistance and professional skills development.
