FORT BLISS, TEXAS - Lt. Col. Ezella Washington and Sgt. Maj. Jason Hopkins are inducted into The Order of Military Medical Merit at a formal ceremony hosted by Maj. Gen. Sean C. Bernabe, Commander of 1st Armored Division and Fort Bliss, May 13, 2022. The Order of Military Medical Merit (O2M3) is awarded to a member of the Army Medical Department (AMEDD) who through dedicated application of talent, effort, and spirit, has made a significant contribution having an impact on the whole of the Army. Lt. Col. Ezella Washington is currently serving as the 1st Armored Division Surgeon and is a U.S. Army Medical Corps Officer, Doctor of osteopathic medicine and Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. Sgt. Maj. Jason Hopkins is currently serving as the 1st Armored Division Chief Medical Noncommissioned Officer and is a U.S. Army Combat Medic Specialist.
