Maj. Gen. Mark Schindler, the adjutant general, Pa. National Guard administers the Oath of Office to Brig. Gen. John Pippy at Fort Indiantown Gap on May 14, 2022. Pippy is concurrently assigned as the land component commander of the PNG and the deputy chief of engineers for National Guard affairs at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Headquarters. His previous assignments included command of the 55th Maneuver Enhancement Brigade and the FEMA Region 3 Homeland Response Force.
