Senior enlisted leaders from the U.S. Army 21st Theater Sustainment Command and U.S. Air Force 86th Airlift Wing, along with representatives from the German-American and International Women's club, laid wreaths during the American Kindergraves Memorial Service at the Kaiserslautern Main Cemetery, May 14, 2022. From 1952-1971, 457 American infants were buried in the Kaiserslautern main cemetery. In addition to being a symbol of partnership between Germany and the U.S., the American Kindergraves has helped families manage the pain of their loss and keeps them connected to family histories.
