Pfc. Nicholis Samlin, a food service specialist for the 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, "Task Force Wings," is one of the unsung heroes who serve dinner chow to approximately 1,100 soldiers during field training near Fort Polk, La., Oct.10. In addition to providing all soldiers with a healthy meal, food service specialists serve as first responders to wounded Soldiers in the event of a mass casualty.
