Chief Warrant Officer 3 Ben J. Bartholomew, the 2nd Marine
Aircraft Wing Band officer-in-charge, waits along his Marines for their turn
to form up and play the national anthem at Yankee Stadium prior to Game 3 of the American League Division Series Oct. 10. Bartholomew, from Stroudsburg, Pa., and the rest of the band, are based at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., and routinely perform throughout the continental United States and internationally, serving as musical ambassadors of the United States Marine Corps.
