Hopper Hall is the cyber studies building on the campus of the United States Naval Academy. It is the first academic building constructed on the Yard since Rickover Hall over 40 years ago. The 206,000-square-foot academic building contains dedicated labs for the development and operation of underwater, surface, and aerial robotics by Midshipmen.
The building is named after Grace Hopper, an American computer scientist and United States Navy Rear Admiral. It is the first building at the Naval Academy, and at one of the three major service academies (USAFA, USMA), named after a woman.
