DINOZE, France - A wall honoring 5,255 military members who lost their lives in the campaigns across northeastern France to the Rhine River and beyond into Germany is located at the Épinal American Cemetery and Memorial in Dinoze, France, May 29, 2022. Épinal was liberated from the German Army Sept. 23, 1944 by the U.S. 7th Army and began receiving and burying the remains of American and German soldiers 15 days later.
