A procession of vehicles utilized by the city and provincial police, traffic police, Emergency Services Unit, Emergency Response Unit and the fire departments traverse the parade grounds depicting a funeral procession to honor the fallen Emergency Services? martyrs. According to IP provincial police statics, over 800 Kirkuk IP have died in 2007, not to include the other services, during ceremonies commemorating graduation of Kirkuk Police Academy recruits and Emergency Services Recognition Day, Jan. 9, 2008.
