CMDCM(SW) Martin Roberts completed basic training at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL. He attended Electronics Technician “A” School at Service School Command Great Lakes and a series of Electronics Technician “C” Schools at Fleet Training Center Norfolk.
His sea tours include USS SAMUEL ELIOT MORISON (FFG 13), USS ESTOCIN (FFG 15), USS MCCLUSKY (FFG 41), and USS FARRAGUT (DDG 99). Shore Assignments include Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity Guantanamo Bay, Fleet and Mine Warfare Training Center Charleston, Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Navy Region Southwest RCC San Diego, Joint Task Force Guantanamo Bay and Navy Region Northwest RCC Everett.
His personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and various unit and campaign awards. He is a graduate of the United States Navy CMC/COB course and SEA, Class 157. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Workforce Education and Development from Southern Illinois University and Master’s Degree in Homeland Security Management from the University of Maryland.
