Katie Stack, Gold Star widow of Marine Lance Cpl. James Stack, delivers an emotional speech at Memorial Park about the importance of gratitude in honoring our nations fallen servicemembers on Memorial Day. Stack’s husband was killed during combat operations in Afghanistan on November 10, 2010. U.S. Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Richard W. Corner, II, Commanding General, 85th U.S. Army Reserve Support Command, attended Memorial Day ceremonies in the local communities of Norridge and Arlington Heights during the Memorial Day weekend, May 29-30, 2022 to give remarks remembering fallen servicemembers and Gold Star Families.
