An AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter assigned to the 1st Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment "Viper Battalion," 12th Combat Aviation Brigade taxis in a low hover upon landing at the Katterbach Army Airfield, Germany, May 20. Roughly 20 Apaches arrived after spending three months in the Baltics region while participating in Saber Strike 22. 12 CAB worked alongside NATO Allies and regional security partners to provide combat-ready forces, execute joint and multinational training exercises, and retain command and control for all rotational and assigned units in the European Theater.
