Soccer has always been more than just a game. It is also a way for different communities to interact with each other, spreading tolerance and promoting teamwork. In Sinjar, USAID supported Sinjar Mountain Sport Club to organize a tournament bringing together school teachers from the district’s Muslim and Yezidi communities around their love of the game.
