JACKSONVILLE AIR NATIONAL GUARD BASE, Fla. -- U.S. Air Force Airmen assigned to the 125th Fighter Wing, Florida Air National Guard, capture the spirit of Pride Month by participating in a Color Run June 3, 2022, sponsored by the 125 FW Cultural Diversity Enhancement Team. Runners were doused in a rainbow of colored corn starch to show support of LGBTQ+ service members and celebrate the culture of diversity and inclusion found within the Wing. The DoD observes Pride Month during the month of June to commemorate the riots that occurred in New York City in June 1969 that became the catalyst for the gay rights movement.
