Captain Daniel O’Donohue from the 98th Civil Affairs Battalion (SO)(A) received the Soldier’s Medal June 3, 2022, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Cpt. O’Donohue received this prestigious award for his courageous and quick reactions that led to him saving two people from drowning at Topsail Beach, NC. Instead of giving a speech after receiving the award, Cpt. Donohue requested a moment of silence for the father who passed away trying to save his wife and son.
