The 10th Space Operations Squadron was officially activated in a ceremony at Point Mugu, California, June 6, 2022. 10 SOPS will fall under Space Operations Command’s satellite communication delta, DEL8, and perform the mission formerly fulfilled by the Naval Satellite Operations Center, which was disestablished the same day.
