These Soldiers with Delta Company, 1-114th INF conduct platoon assault training with the DJI Phantom 4 Pro V2 on Range 86 on the Fort Dix Range Complex. D co, 1-114 INF Soldiers conducted an assault of target areas in which enemy opposition forces (OPFOR) had support from small-Unmanned Aerial Systems (sUAS). Incorporation of live threat sUAS allowed Delta Company Soldiers to operate in a training environment mirroring real-world threat tactics, techniques, and procedures from the contemporary battlespace. Soldiers were able to work through the challenges posed through enemy sUAS capabilities, adapting unit internal SOPs and TTPs to recognize, react, report, and defeat the enemy both on the ground and in the air.
