SAN DIEGO (May 11, 2022) West Coast-based Naval Special Warfare (NSW) Deploy for Purpose and Fleet Logistics Multi-Mission Squadron (VRM) 30 Sailors load a combat rubber raiding craft onto a CMV-22B Osprey prior to conducting military freefall training. Deploy for Purpose is part of NSW's optimized combat-ready force in reserve focused on innovation. This new force design gives operators the time and space to experiment and develop new concepts to meet specific operational needs while increasing agility to respond to crises around the globe.
