Gregory D. Gadson, a motivational speaker, retired Colonel in the United States Army, and former U.S. Army Fort Belvoir Garrison commander, spoke at the 168th Wing Dining Out in Fairbanks, Alaska June 3, 2022. Gadson is also a bilateral above-the-knee amputee who has appeared in movies and is a motivational speaker for the New York Giants. The 168th Wing hosted a Dining Out event for Airmen to keep Air Force traditions alive and continue morale-building ceremonies. The Air Force Dining Out event started approximately in the 1930s with Army Air Corp’s General H. “Hap” Arnold’s “Wing Dings.”
