Maj. Bernard Patenaude, incoming 39th Logistics Readiness Squadron commander, renders his first salute to the squadron during a change of command ceremony at Incirlik Air Base, Turkey, June 13, 2022. During the ceremony, Maj. Kevin Limani relinquished command to Col. Angela Herron, 39th Mission Support Group commander, who then charged Patenaude with leading the squadron. The change of command ceremony is a long-standing military tradition that represents the formal transfer of responsibility from one officer to another.
