Spc. Lal Thang, an Iowa City, Iowa, native and carpentry and masonry specialist assigned to the 831st Engineer Company, Iowa Army National Guard, cuts through concrete at the historic Herrold School House in the Camp Dodge training area in Johnston, Iowa, on June 14, 2022. The 831st EC was assigned to complete various projects around Camp Dodge. Updates to the school house were made to allow Soldiers to use the schoolhouse as a tactical operations center.
