220613-N-PC065-1067 AEGEAN SEA (June 13, 2022) Ensign Glennalyn Ajero, assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Arlington (LPD 24), observes the Turkish Ada-class Corvette TCG Heybeliada (F 511) through binoculars as Heybeliada sails alongside Arlington during a passing exercise in the Aegean Sea, June 13, 2022. Arlington is a part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet, to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
