PHILIPPINE SEA (June 10, 2022) Lt. j.g. Braden Parent, from San Diego, assigned to Explosive Ordnance Disposal Mobile Unit (EODMU) 3, secures the flight deck of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) during a helicopter visit, board, search and seizure (HVBSS) exercise in conjunction with the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72). Abraham Lincoln Strike Group is on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability through alliances and partnerships while serving as a ready-response force in support of a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
