Since the establishment of the Navy Hospital Corps in 1898, U.S. Marines and Sailors have worked side-by-side to ensure combat operational readiness and interservice capabilities. The tour aboard the USS San Antonio allowed higher echelon leadership a better understanding of ship capabilities, personnel well-being and lethality of joint force operations.
