Marine Corps Base (MCB) Camp Lejeune has begun construction to replace the current Onslow Beach Bridge by the fall of 2024. This new bridge will be a safer, more reliable means of transportation and is scheduled to be completed. Once the construction is completed the old swing bridge will be demolished. The final project is scheduled to conclude in the spring of 2025. (Courtesy photo)
