U.S. Airmen assigned to the 27th Special Operations Wing and the 919th Special Operations Wing, Duke Field, Florida, participate in a Coyote Dicer joint exercise at Melrose Air Force Range, New Mexico, May 18, 2022. Airmen from the 919th Special Operations Security Forces Squadron Deployed Aircraft Ground Response Element conducted weapons training with 27 SOW volunteers acting as partner nation forces in a simulated forward operating base built by Mission Sustainment Team 2 from the 27th Special Operations Mission Support Group. The multilateral field exercise’s purpose is to train and validate air and ground component readiness to execute direct action and close air support missions through various training scenarios.
