Memphis, Tenn. (June 13, 2022) J.D. Hemmings, a member of Naval Support Activity Mid-South Fire Department, hands out kid’s fire helmets to families visiting The Fire Museum of Memphis during Navy Week Memphis. Memphis Navy Week is one of 14 Navy Weeks in 2022, which brings a variety of assets, equipment, and personnel to a single city for a weeklong series of engagements designed to bring America's Navy closer to the people it protects. Each year, the program reaches more than 140 million people -- about half the U.S. population. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Bryan Niegel)
