An Iowa Army National Guard Soldier assigned to the 34th Army Band plays a marching drum at the Camp Dodge Summer Concert Series on June 24, 2022. Each year, the Iowa National Guard hosts weekly concerts at the historic Pool Pavilion that are free and open to the public. The unit, based out of Fairfield, Iowa, dedicated two specialized bands - 42 Romeo and Scrap Metal - to perform while they were on annual training orders.
