220615-N-PC065-1012 MEDITERRANEAN SEA (June 15, 2022) Sailors assigned to the San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock USS Arlington (LPD 24) and Marines attached to the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) heave line during a replenishment-at-sea with the Lewis and Clark-class dry cargo ship USNS Robert E. Peary (T-AKE 5) in the Mediterranean Sea, June 15, 2022. Arlington is a part of the Kearsarge Amphibious Ready Group and embarked 22nd MEU, under the command and control of Task Force 61/2, on a scheduled deployment in the U.S. Naval Forces Europe area of operations, employed by U.S. Sixth Fleet, to defend U.S., allied and partner interests.
