2nd Lt. Gretchen Clay, a military police officer assigned to the 18th Military Police Brigade, poses for a photo in front of the team’s mine-resistant ambush-protected all-terrain vehicle, or MAT-V display at Eurosatory 2022, 13 June, in Paris, France.
Clay and her team briefed trade show attendees on the credentials and capabilities of the MAT-V during interactive demonstrations throughout the week-long event, further improving the understanding of U.S. equipment with partner nations.
"I think it’s important to show them [our allies] that we care about maintaining our relationship and bringing the M-ATV helps to showcase the U.S. Army’s commitment," Clay said, “I’ve appreciated that my team’s gotten to come do this. I’ve seen them come out of their shells, taking charge, briefing the capabilities of the M-ATV to attendees and VIPs – it’s exciting to showcase something you know about, that you operate and maintain.”
