Kelliher III, Deputy Commander, Fleet Marine Force, Atlantic, Marine Forces Command, Marine Forces Northern Command, right front, meet at Marine Forces Command, in Norfolk, VA, June 24, 2022. During the meeting, Van and Kelliher III discussed modernization and reogranization of the Defense CBRN (Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear) Response Force (DCRF) and the critical role of the USMC CBIRF (Chemical Biological Incident Response Force) to our Nation's crisis response enterprise. JTF-CS conducts CBRN Response and All-Hazards DSCA (Defense Support of Civil Authorities) operations in support of the Lead Federal Agency to save lives and mitigate human suffering.
