Yakima, Wash. - U.S. Army cadets train with 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne) soldiers during a simulated attack at Yakima Training Center, on June 14, 2022. Sage Eagle is a training event where U.S. Army Infantry, Special Operations Forces and Marines share skillsets and best practices with cadets from around the country to better equip them as leaders in combat. During the training the service members conducted various battlefield operations to include civil affairs operations, tactical combat casualty care, close-quarters battle, land navigation and multiple insertion methods in a combat environment.
