Jack Gutman, a former U.S. Navy corpsman who served during World War II, speaks to military members at Field Medical Training Battalion - West, Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, June 27, 2022. In 1944 Jack and Jerry Ackerman became best friends while training on Camp Pendleton only to be separated during the war without knowing of each other's whereabouts until 75 years later.
