A mural hangs in the stairwell of the air traffic control tower at Morón Air Base, Spain, celebrating the partnership between U.S. and Spanish air traffic controllers. On top of ATC training, U.S. controllers must receive linguist training that allows them to use their language skill as part of their primary job before they can be stationed at Morón AB.
