U.S. Marine Corps Sgt. Edward Carrasco Jr., an intelligence specialist assigned to Task Force 61/2, recites the Non Commissioned Officer Creed during a promotion ceremony in Naples, Italy, July 1, 2022. Carrasco is a native of Temple, Texas, and was recruited out of Recruiting Station Frederick, Maryland. TF-61/2 provides command and control amphibious and expeditionary capabilities on an experimental basis within the U.S. European Command (EUCOM) and U.S. Africa Command’s (AFRICOM) area of operations (AOO) to protect U.S. interests, reassure Allies and Partners, and enable integrated deterrence of adversaries.
