Staff Sgt. Westin Shular, an explosive ordinance disposal technician assigned to the 380th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Squadron, analyzes a “dead man’s switch” connected to a simulated improvised explosive device during an active shooter, explosive ordinance disposal exercise June 25, 2022, at Al Dhafra Air Base, United Arab Emirates.
